ZadeIQ — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026
ZadeIQ ("we", "us", "the app") is an educational app for learning about investing. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices. By using ZadeIQ you agree to this policy.
ZadeIQ is for education only. It uses simulated ("paper") trading with virtual currency. No real money is ever invested, transferred, or at risk through the app, and nothing in the app is financial, investment, or tax advice.
1. Who we are
The app is operated by the ZadeIQ developer. For any privacy question or request, contact us at zadeiq.support@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, a display name you choose, and a password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider).
- App activity you create — your simulated portfolio and paper-trade history, virtual cash balance, watchlist, price alerts, quiz progress, learning streak, and last-active date.
- Subscription information — if you purchase ZadeIQ Premium, we and our payments partner receive a purchase and subscription record (product purchased, status, renewal/expiration) so we can unlock premium features. Apple processes the actual payment; we never receive or store your credit card or Apple ID password.
- Device & diagnostic data — limited technical information (such as app version and basic error logs) needed to operate the app.
3. How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and sign you in.
- To save and sync your portfolio, quizzes, watchlist, and settings across sessions.
- To provide, unlock, and restore your Premium subscription.
- To display market data and news within the learning experience.
- To fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the app.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Service providers who process data for us
We rely on a small number of trusted providers, each acting on our behalf or under their own privacy terms:
- Supabase — stores your account, portfolio, quiz, watchlist, and alert data, and handles authentication.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription entitlements and processes your purchase/subscription records.
- Apple (App Store / In-App Purchase) — processes payments and manages your subscription billing.
- Finnhub and Twelve Data — provide market quotes, company data, and news shown in the app.
- Expo — provides the framework and build/update tooling for the app.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and app data for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems, except where we must retain limited records (for example, a purchase record) to meet legal or accounting obligations.
6. Your choices and rights
- Access or delete your data — email zadeiq.support@gmail.com and we will help you access or delete your account data.
- Manage your subscription — view, change, or cancel it anytime in your Apple ID → Subscriptions settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as under GDPR or CCPA) to access, correct, port, or delete your data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.
7. Children
ZadeIQ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures (including encrypted connections and hashed passwords) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
